I am really excited to see that many of our staffing and recruiting peers are seeing success after a difficult last couple years. Companies are reporting staffing numbers 49% higher than they were at the beginning of the year. That's really great news.

We are not out of the clear yet and things are poised to drastically change over the next 18 months as the Healthcare Reform Act begins to go into efffect. How are you preparing for that?

It's important to remember that you are not alone. You are (whether you are a member of NCASP yet or not) part of the staffing commmunity in North Carolina. This will effect us all. NCASP is planning to deliver numerous educational resources to our members as this law goes into effect on how to manage the transition. In addition, we are working to increase our exposure among the lawmakers in the state to make sure they hear our concerns. Much of this is a free service to our paid members.
