You are an entrepeneur. That is why you are in the staffing industry. Opportunities lie around every corner and you want to grab all that you can. But be careful. Every account will not help you reach your goals.
Let me ask you a simple question. If you are losing 25 cents per placement, per hour, how many jobs do you have to place to make money?
(You may want to read that last statement again)
Sounds silly, but it may be the best question that you ask yourself today. Each of us has that one account. You know, the one that you are dying to work with. The account that makes you feel that you have finally "arrived". Before you break your back with an offer that you wouldn't dare give to any other client, ask yourself if the deal makes sense (better yet, does it make dollars and cents).
There are many factors that come into play when we talk about profitability. Do your best to take them all in.
