Event Description

It was the best of times, It was the worst of times
A Strategy for Recruiting Success in Uncertain Times

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times;
--Charles Dickens

We are doing business in the most tumultuous economy in decades. Every industry in this country faces unprecedented challenges as we grapple with changes—some good, some bad. But there is real prosperity in the air for those recruiters who can not only manage the chaos, but learn to thrive on it.
As the recession winds down and the economy begins to show signs of improvement, people are shaking their heads and asking, “What happened?” and more importantly, “Where do we go from here?” As recruiters, we must help our candidates and clients make sense of the chaos. This won’t be easy in the midst of a jobless recovery with unemployment rates hovering around 10 percent. But we’ve got to approach every day with a renewed commitment to success and lead our clients to do the same.

This session clearly outlines the best ways to position yourself and your firm to take advantage of the significant shifts that have occurred in the recruiting and staffing industry. The inability or refusal to change your operating principles is the quickest road to failure in business today. It is only those who change as our market changes who will be at the top as the economy rebounds.
Use this presentation to gain valuable insight into:

- The most important shifts caused by the recession
- The best ways to build your market by arming your candidates and clients with key information
- Business development strategies that are working today
- The role of technology – the recruiters hurt the most are those who aren’t tech savvy

Be the master of your own destiny: don’t let chaos control you, harness it, capitalize on it.

Just finished Jon's webinar. It was 30 minutes packed with very useful, specific information about changes in recruiting trends over the past 18 months & how we can adapt to those trends to increase placements. It really whetted my appetite to hear him put more meat on those ideas at NCASP's May conference.
